2. It’s fire resistant (rocks don’t burn!)
3. It’s vapor open so you can drive through the insulation.
4. Easy installation.
5. Can use spray paint on top of it after installations are installed, but before sheetrockers come. (Great for notes!)
6. Sound control qualities.
7. It’s hydrophobic
8. Particles that come off the insulation don’t stay airborne (versus insulation made of lighter materials).
