At a glance, they look similar but are actually entirely different scales -- figuring out which one is right for your needs is important. This video dives a little deeper into a few of the more common wire gauge tools you might encounter and what they're actually for.
And often (unfortunately) many of these you'll encounter are probably NOT what you want - I found many listings advertising falsely that they are measuring AWG or SWG, when they're actually something entirely different.
