Manipur's First Indigenous People's Cultural Exchange Festival to Promote Unity and Peace Kicks Off
In an effort to promote and protect the Indigenous communities in Manipur, the first-ever Manipur Indigenous People's Cultural Exchange Festival was kicked off today at Chadong in Kamjong district.
Inaugurating the festival, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh stressed the significance of the festival to share and exchange culture amongst the indigenous communities of the state.
Chief Minister Biren Singh added the festival is a stepping stone for restoring peace and normalcy in the state.
