Firmware-Update-Tutorial for ZHIYUN Smooth 4
The hardware of the new gimbal from ZHIYUN is very nice and works fine. But the software is not made for Android at all. On iOS almost everything works perfectly. The Android version has a lot of bugs and I can´t recommend it to use with Android phones at the moment.
To be safe that the Phone app and the gimbal works perfectly together you also need to update the gimbals firmware. At least it´s highly recommended because of the problem that the motors can get to hot.
In this video I will show you how it works on a Mac. On Windows its almost the same.
