Today I work on welding up the plugs on the sliding door, then I begin to body work the door. I apply fiberglass Bondo the the bare metal, then I block sand it and apply more filler. I also block the passenger door again. I will go back and forth with the block and Bondo until the area is completely smooth.
After a solid Bondo session I begin to install a popper in the passenger door. I'm using a cheaper JDM Speed Motor door popper in the passenger door since they work great! I used a more expensive Dakota Digital popper in the driver's door. Now we have three doors popping! Rods were used to connect the popper to the latch for ultimate reliability.
