Melissa Roxburgh stands as one of network TV’s latest breakouts as lead character Michaela Stone on NBC’s twisty sci-fi mystery “Manifest.” Roxburgh came by Backstage HQ to tease the second half of Season 1 (which premiered Jan. 7) and to reflect on what she’d tell her younger self while living in “Hollywood North”: Vancouver, British Columbia.

In this clip from Melissa's Backstage Live interview, she shares one crucial piece of audition advice that could help all actors gleamed from her experiences sitting on both sides of the table. In addition, she provides another tidbit on how actors should switch their mindsets during auditions from trying to nail the part to simply having fun.
