Amid the ethnic clashes in Manipur, a distressing incident has emerged where a survivor, who had sought refuge in a relief camp, has lodged a police complaint. The survivor, residing in Manipur's Churachandpur district, revealed that on May 3, as turmoil erupted due to the Kuki community's rally about Scheduled Tribes categorization, she was ensnared by a group of men. Fleeing her ablaze home with family members, she was subjected to a brutal gang rape. MOJO speaks to Ningtioujam Kavita , a Meira Paibi leader from Imphal, about the case.
