Khajuraho temples, these magnificent temples were built by King Chandravarman during the Chandela kingdom. After the beauty and attractiveness of the temples of the Khajuraho remained intact till the 12th century, these temples underwent many changes. Later, with the efforts of people of Hindu and Jain religion, only 20 to 22 temples could be protected. Due to the grandeur and attractiveness of the Khajuraho temples, were included in the list of world heritage in 1986 by UNESCO.
