Upper Class friend Chicken 😂 AKA not enough spices.........
On our way to the AMAZING Slipknot/Cypress Hill concert we HAD to eat at Emeril's!
Well I had to, Kevin is just very flexible...and oops he worked 10, not 5 days. I was confused as it was only 2 days since I got to go watch DJ Snoopdizzle at the closing party for the job he was on.....it was AWESEOME! Then to Slipknot and next Saturday, PRIMUS!!!!!
Then service was odd....there were 3 bartenders. 3 patrons when we sat down. They all asked us for our drink orders but nobody made them 😂 finally we got our drinks and ordered the food. I knew what I was getting, Kevin was up in the air but he's always about good fried chicken.
Kevin ordered the Fried Chicken, myself, BBQ Shrimp app and Creole Potato Fries.
The BBQ Shrimp is one of my all time favorites, and why I continue to go back here 😁
Overall it was good. The service was, I would say, awkward? The Shrimp didn't seem to be as flavorful as it used to be, but it was good. The fries were great. Kevin.....well he reviewed it in this video, but as he said, the skin was good 😂 I tried a bite. I gotta say, its was pretty dry.........and really not that tasty. The quality of the chicken seemed good, but it lacked certain herbs and spices as the colonel would say.....
Now that Kevin should be more involved, as work is a bit slower, he is getting into it. It cracked me up the way he rotated the fried chicken for effect.......gotta love that guy!
The restaurant is really pretty. Decor is very aquatic. I'll never forget having dinner there with my parents before my dad passed.......it will always hold a special place in my heart.
