Low cost easy upgrade
One of the easiest, cheapest and most worthwhile upgrades on the Honda CB500F. This is a great bike, but known for short low gears. This fixes that. 1st through 3rd are noticeably longer and 5th is like the old 6th gear. 6th is like an overdrive. Upgrade took 10 min. Simply lift the rear, remove chain guard and body work protecting the front sprocket, loosen remove shift arm, loosen and remove sprocket bolt (hardest part), slide off chain, do all over in reverse....presto. No more short low gears!!!!
