In 2000 I got to do a story about a high school football team in Concord, CA that had won over one hundred straight games. Bob Ladouceur was the head coach behind the achievement and one of the more impressive people I've ever interviewed. I was allowed to shoot everything the program encompassed except for one part-- a ritual the night before games that involved what I heard were intense meetings between players and coaches. De La Salle's streak would finally end at 151 games won in a row over 12 years. If you look closely at the piece you'll see a small sophomore running back power his way toward the camera for extra yards. His name is Maurice Jones-Drew who later starred in the NFL.
