As per NMC guidelines, students who want to practice MBBS abroad in India need to do an internship in Georgia. SEU offers us their own and affiliated hospitals for the internship at American Hospital Tbilisi.

These hospitals are very well-equipped—American Hospital in Tbilisi, Georgia is exclusive for SEU University students from Atmia Education for the course of American MD (USMD). These hospitals are so advanced with modern technologies that we don’t even see them in India today.

So, it’s a great experience for medical students pursuing MBBS abroad; it’s like actually living a dream 😴, seeing all of these things happening around you.

Talking about studies, many MBBS students ask about this—even I was one of them. Yes, it’s very good; they follow the European pattern, that is, the ECTS, where you get credits based on your marks.

The examination pattern at Georgian National University is very new to Indian students. it's something online. And you get your marks as soon as you complete your exams; the instant you submit your papers, the marks are right in front of you.

Also, about the lectures: The teachers at SEU University are friendly, helpful, and good. Being there for a semester, my teachers helped me even when I was unwell.

So, talking about Georgia, Georgia is a very beautiful country. Again, before flying from India, I had done enough research on the country for MBBS Georgia. I know that the people there are very helpful and it’s a very safe country.

But as a person staying there, it’s another experience altogether. For all the students planning to go to Georgia for MBBS abroad, I assure you, Georgia will not disappoint you at all.
