ANC Presidential hopeful, and former Health Minister, Dr. Zweli Mkhize, says he has what it takes to lead the ANC. Mkhize says the party has policies that can uplift South Africans, and he is ready to implement them.
The ANC holds its 55th elective conference next month. Mkhize resigned as health minister in 2021 over the COVID-19 communications scandal.
The Digital Vibes scandal cost the department of health R150 million. The money was paid to Digital Vibes, the communications company linked to Mkhize's former spokesperson, and former personal assistant.
Mkhize believes the scandal shouldn't prevent him from contesting for the top ANC position.
