If you want to know how to catch mutton snapper then this video should help you out. They are biting on the patch reefs right now in 15ft of water. Anchor near a patch of rocks and throw out some weighted jigs with shrimp, ballyhoo or other live bait.
We caught yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper, grouper, grunts and all sorts of fish species while fishing on the patch reefs. There's amazing patch reef fishing from Key Largo to Tavernier and in Islamorada. Pretty much all of the Florida keys has amazing patch reef fishing
