Following our Founder & CEO Eva Hamilton’s recent film highlighting the challenges on White City Estate, Key4Life sat down with two impressive young men who have recently enrolled on the programme from the area. Abdi and Mohammed, both born and raised on White City Estate, share the difficulties they faced growing up in this deprived community, the lack of opportunities available and the high levels of crime surrounding them.
Key4Life is on a mission to change the stigma associated with employing ex-offenders, and to provide work placements and job opportunities for disadvantaged young men like Adbi and Mohammed. Our main challenge now is to target all local businesses around White City Estate and bring awareness to the lack of inclusion the estate is experiencing.
