A year ago Australia was in the midst of a Bushfire crisis the like of which has never been seen before. The Tait’s involvement in the Australian Bushfire Benefit London concert was one of our proudest moments. Our hats are off to ABBL co-founders and #TaitAwardees Bridget O'Donnell & Lotte Bets-Dean for being the inspiration for this mammoth event on Sunday 1st March 2020 in Duke's Hall, Royal Academy of Music.

This recording of the rising Australian conductor, Toby Thatcher leading the ABBL Orchestra performing Ella Macen's haunting work, 'The Lake' (UK Premiere) was a highlight . We hope you enjoy it.

Formed by #Australian musicians in London who produced a concert featuring Australia’s finest musicians with full orchestra and choir to honour the brave men and women who fought the worst fires in Australia’s history. Our hearts are with the people of Australia and we hope that the money raised from this concert will make a tangible difference to the victims of this horrific tragedy.
