We're at this home with our solution to their drainage problem.
We replace their window wells. The window wells were too low and full of holes. The downspout was discharging too close allowing the storm water to flow towards the foundation and the yard was also sloping towards this side of the house. These problems gave the homeowner an occasional damp basement. We installed new taller plastic window wells that won't rust, extended the downspout and regraded the side yard so the storm water flows away from the house.
