It's been a long week of skoolie life travel. Being a full time traveler is fun, but it can be a grind. We spent most of the week working all day, driving 4-5 hours at night, arriving to our rv campsite in the dark, going to be, getting up and doing it all over again. But we had a couple days where we were able to really enjoy our time. First, we enjoyed two nights (whoa!) at Monahans Sandhills State Park. We were able to hike the dunes after I finished work, and boy was that an experience. Raleigh seemed to like it more than anyone as she went sprinting and jumping all over the place. By the end of it, she was a little bothered by the sand, but it took about an hour for that to happen.

After a quick stop at Sunland Park Casino & Hotel to park for the night, we drove through New Mexico and into Arizona. After about a 30 minute drive down rough dirt roads, honestly not used to THAT yet, we found a spot to park for the night. Hopeful for beautiful scenic views, we went to bed. And when we woke up, we were treated to awesome views of the mountains in the distance and the rock formations next to the bus. What a view!

Next week we'll be continuing on and arriving in Las Vegas, where we are surprised by some unexpected weather! Stay tuned!
