Next up in the Kveik SMASH beer series is Framgarden Kveik. This is supposedly a very melon-forward yeast, so I'm combining it with Huell Melon hops to create a juicy melons beer!

Recipe for 5 gallons, your efficiency may vary:
"One in a Melon"
5.1% ABV 42 IBU (perceived is less)
12 lb Simpsons Golden Promise (100%)
Single Infusion Mash at 154 F (68 C) for 60 min
Water (ppm): Ca: 51, Mg: 7, Na: 26, SO4: 62, Cl: 104, HCO3: 0
Add 2g Gypsum, 2g Epsom, 2g NaCl and 4g CaCl to 8 gal (30 L) of distilled water.
Adjust mash pH to 5.2-5.5 with lactic acid or slaked lime if needed.
30 minute boil
20 min - Add 1 oz (28g) Huell Melon (5.2% AA)
10 min - Add 1 oz (28g) Huell Melon (5.2% AA)
0 min - Add 2 oz (56g) Huell Melon (5.2% AA)
20 minute whirlpool at 180 F (82 C) with 4 oz (113g) Huell Melon (5.2% AA)
OG: 1.054
Yeast: Framgarden Kveik flakes
Ferment at 85-95 F (29-35 C) for 3-5 days
FG: 1.016
