One month after Election Day 2008, fifteen campaign officials and political journalists converged on the Dole Institute to give frank commentary on the 2008 political season, all kept in check by four moderators.
Four sessions focused on each aspect of the presidential election: The Republican nomination contest, the Democratic nomination contest, and the General Election.
The 2008 Post-Election Conference was the Dole Institute’s second, following a smaller conference in 2006. The 2008 Post-Election Conference earned the Dole Institute national media attention, including a prominent mention in The New York Times.
