This is part 3 of me using my modified car hauler / log lifting arch and 12,000 lb Harbor Freight Winch to load a huge tree. I have only had this trailer for a few weeks and only use it a couple times on small stuff but wanted to test it on something really big to test its limits. I didn't come up with this idea. I watched the other videos on YouTube, picked out the things I liked (or didn't like) and thought of a few ways I thought it might be better and had it made. I did not do the fabrication. I presented my ideas to Dusty's Welding Shop in Clarksville, Tennessee and he built it for me. He did a great job. I'm looking forward to getting more "free firewood" from craigslist ads and splitting my family's firewood for years to come! The money I save in not purchasing firewood will pay for this trailer and my wood splitter.....at least that's the plan!
