Behringer KOBOL EXPANDER Overview

The Behringer KOBOL EXPANDER is a versatile analog semi-modular synthesizer designed in a Eurorack format. With its authentic reproduction of the original "Kobol Expander" circuitry from the 1970s, this synthesizer offers a pure analog signal path based on authentic VCO, VCF, and VCA designs.

Featuring dual oscillators with seven variable waveforms, oscillator sync, and pulse width modulation, the KOBOL EXPANDER allows for infinite sound creation and complex effects. Its unique 4-pole VCF design provides natural saturation that can only be found in "Kobol" synthesizers, adding depth and character to your sounds.

Designed for immediate performance, the semi-modular design of the KOBOL EXPANDER requires no patching, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced synthesizer enthusiasts.
