The long awaited debut of the Alstom Movia R151 has finally happened after having its debut delayed for about half a year.The new trains had many improvements from the previous batches of trains on the NSEWL with it having new PIDS(passenger information display systems) similar to the ones on the refurbished C751A on the north east line which is more informative compared to the PIDS on previous batches.It does also have more space for wheelchair users and families with a baby pram however this does mean there are less seats as 8 seats at each end of the car had been removed.The train was also quite jerky at some point and it got so bad that the emergency brakes had to be activated.Overall it’s a really nice train genuinely enjoyed making a 2 hour journey across the southern part of Singapore.
