Srinagar, Nov 24 (ANI): Separatist leaders called for a shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar city on Tuesday to protest against the killing of three Hizbul Mujahideen militants. The shutdown call was given by separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani. The militants, who were identified as Adil, Amir and Arif, were members of Hizbul Mujahideen. They were shot dead in an encounter with the security forces in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday. Security was stepped up in the city following the shutdown call. The streets were empty as all shops remained closed and the traffic was off the roads.
