Your Ostomy Journey Is Unique to You

Don't judge your ostomy journey based on what you see from other content creators.

Everyone has their own path, and it takes people different times to adjust to life with an ostomy.

Just because someone says they feel confident after a few months does not mean you will feel that way, either. Everyone has a different journey.

For me, it took about a year. I still struggle with what to wear, and my bag changes will never be done in 3 minutes, but I am okay with that.

It is a process and life-changing event. Be kind to yourself.
