Bloomberg software developers Jason Grout and Paul Ivanov are two members of the Project Jupyter Steering Council that received the 2017 Software System Award from the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). We talked to them, along with Brian Granger, Co-Founder of Project Jupyter, on the occasion of the award being presented to the group at the ACM's Awards Dinner on Saturday, June 23, 2018 and asked why they participate in the open source community, what the significance of Project Jupyter is for the computing industry and why it's important that Bloomberg is involved in Project Jupyter.
