From Season 23 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 8: Disney's Greatest Dog Stars which originally aired on The Wonderful World of Color on November 28th, 1976. The particular airing uploaded here is from 1981 that promoted the upcoming film, The Fox and the Hound, as presented on a Vault Disney episode on The Disney Channel (how much do we miss this series?). The 1976 episode promoted the live-action film, The Shaggy D.A., as such, the host of the episode is Dean Jones. The program looks at Disney's past canine stars. Due to copyright, portions of the following shorts had to be edited out: The Pointer (1939), Donald & Pluto (1936) and Lend a Paw (1941)
