At the end of the Second World War, the hunt was on to find those guards who worked inside of the concentration camps. One of the most wanted Nazi war criminals was Rudolf Höss, the Commandant of Auschwitz which became the deadliest site of extermination during WWII. Höss was eventually found hiding as a gardener inside of Gottrüpel, but the British forces that were arresting him brutalised him and almost killed him. But what happened with his arrest?
