There are many variations of Sandesh with light changes, like adding jaggery instead of sugar, adding kesar or saffron, some people mix dry nuts, and there is also mango sandesh. But the simple basic sandesh is the most popular version, and now let’s see how to make sandesh at home.
To prepare 3 ingredients sandesh we need chhena, powdered sugar and cardamom powder. Chena is prepared by curdling milk, collect chhena, knead it to smooth. Then in a pan cook it with powdered sugar in low heat, add cardamom powder. Prepare balls from the cooled mixture, and top them with dry nuts like pistachio or almonds, or even tutti fruttis. And the lovely tasty delicious chhena sandesh recipe is ready. Refrigerate it for few hours before serving.
