The Red Cross of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the IFRC and the ICRC are working together to respond to the 10th Ebola outbreak.
The latest outbreak is in North Kivu, an area blighted by insecurity and violence which makes responding to the virus complicated and challenging.
A 19-strong team of Red Cross experts is in North Kivu, including experienced volunteers from the Democratic Republic of Congo. It local volunteers that will play a vital role in fighting Ebola as they work directly with communities either affected by or at risk of Ebola.
