Coach Trevor from the MS GYM has created a great series on STRENGTH TRAINING FOR MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS using RESISTANCE BANDS. This video focuses on a BAND BODY ROTATION exercise from a standing position.
ITEMS NEEDED: Theraband or CLX Band
1. Grab a Theraband or CLX band and loop it around something.
2. Look the band around the outside hand (hand furthest from where you have it connected to a stationary surface) and place your inside hand goes over the top.
3. Stand wide with your feet about shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent, sit back into your hips, pull your abs in and your shoulder blades down.
4. The movement starts from the foot, then hip, then ribs and finally shoulder.
5. To move back reverse the steps – shoulder, ribs, hip, foot.
REMEMBER BGB throughout exercises – Keep your Blades down, Guts in and squeeze your Butt.
