2A82 - Vanos Inlet - (Intake)
2A87 - Vanos Outlet, Mechanical - (Exhaust)

Anything related to Vanos, always check engine oil level first. Oil is critical for these solenoids to operate correctly.

Symptoms are rough idles, lack of power, unstable RPMs. Feels like vehicle has a misfire. In some cases vehicle can trigger codes for misfires.
