Full game longplay of the first and only DLC to the Beholder game, called Blissful Sleep. Released in 2017 for the same platforms as the Beholder did. It is a prequel to the main game, picturing a few last days of what happened to the previous superintendent of the ampartment building, that we as Carl Stein take over later.
Beholder is a government-installed landlord-also-spy simulator with a very comic-noir style gaphics, with no audible dialogs between characters except for intro and outro. A brilliant idea, really. A game where your sense of morality clashes with your self-preservation instinct. It's a game where consequences are not always known instantly, and where they aren't that good for us and the people living in our apartment block, regardless of whether we are an asshole or a friend. Entire game is about finding a golden centre between that. Note: there is a DLC called Blessful Sleep (which is coming to the channel shortly) which is a straight prequel to the main Beholder game. It's main hero/anti-hero is a person we see first here, right after we get to the apartment to take over. :)
What I most loved about this DLC is it's story, it's direct connection to the Beholder. It's like every significant character/renter from Beholder got his/her story expanded on significantly, like what happened to Jacob that had made him a lowlife thug, what Aloysy Shpak did as a doctor to become so famous, how exactly Klaus Schimmer came into unfavor of the government and lost his paper that lets people leave their place of living. Although, to be honest, there are some problems with the quests, specifically the mechanics of how they're to be completed. I couldn't figure out where to find those mice after I gave Order food. Overall, just the structure of these quests is..less than stellar to be honest. But, overall, it is a pretty good DLC, but mostly because of it's prequel nature and it's great story.
