In this video I show you how to make katori chaat which is a perfect snack to make for iftar. The katori is filled with a chana chaat and garnished with delicious sauces.
Ingredients:
470g Boiled Chickpeas (2 Tinned cans of chickpeas)
2 Medium Potatoes – Boiled and Cubed
Juice of half a lemon
1 Tsp Chilli Powder/Basaar Mix
1 Tbsp Chaat Masala
1 Tsp Cumin Powder
¼ Tsp Garam Masala
½ Tsp Salt – Adjust to taste
1.5 Tsp Green Chilli Paste (Prime foods)
2 Red Onions – Finely Chopped
½ Cucumber – Finely Chopped
½ Cup Tamarind Chutney
1.5 Cups Greek Style Yogurt
Freshly Chopped Coriander
Pastry/Papdi:
2 Cups Plain Flour
½ Tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
1.5 Tbsp Olive Oil
Water – As required
Oil for frying
Garnishing:
Mint and Coriander Chutney
Fried Onions (Prime foods)
Sev
Pomegranate Seeds
Fresh Coriander
