India has expelled a senior Canadian diplomat in a tit-for-tat move after Canada kicked out an Indian intelligence officer. Ottawa claims there is “credible evidence” India’s government was behind the alleged assassination of Sikh community leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada in June. New Delhi has called the claims "absurd."
