A complex and ambitious multi-element build, Mesamachine is a ‘table machine’ with accompanying stools and a bench, made from American cherry with a dark stain. Designed by Valencia-based designer Jaime Hayon and manufactured by Benchmark in their Berkshire workshop, Mesamachine is one of the 9 designs for 'Connected', a creative project which brings together 9 international designers to create a table and seating in U.S. hardwood, exploring how the onset of Covid-19 has changed how people live, work and create.

All pieces are on display at the Design Museum in London from 11 Sep-11 Oct 2020.
