BJP leaders are on the streets and raised slogans against Mamata govt, demanding justice in the RG Kar rape-murder horror. Meanwhile, West Bengal Police detained several BJP leaders as the protest continued on the streets of Kolkata. This came after the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College, which sparked nationwide outrage. Nabanna Abhijan Rally called for August 27 to protest the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape-murder case.
