Prayer (Salah) is the second pillar in Islam. It is the key to our success in this world and the next. But if we do not guard it or lose it, then we will not be able to unlock the doors that lead us the good in this life and the next life.
So it is important to every Muslim to pray with utmost respect, humiliation and concentration.
This is called Khushoo in Arabic. It is part of what completes our Salah and makes it acceptable in the eyes of Allah SWT.
But most of us do our Salah as a chore and as a mechanical act of recitation bowing and prostration in a hurried manner.
