I changed my stock 32/70 pulleys to an overdrive 33/65 combo. That required a 128t belt.
I think it’s been at least 7 years since I had this apart. I forgot how much of pain it is to align the rear wheel.
I start by getting it close. Then I adjust the left side to set the belt tension.
Then while idling in 3rd gear I make small adjustments to the alignment bolt, which causes the belt to track side to side. Adjust a bit. Wait to see if it stays or slowly tracks sideways. Adjust again and wait. Tighten the axle nut a bit. Adjust for the slight change that makes. Until finally it stays in place for at least 5 minutes.
Hopefully I won’t need to touch it again for a long time.
