The Caucasus Mountains is a mountain system in Eurasia lying between the Black and the Caspian sea in the Caucasus region. It occupies parts of Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, drifting mainly from northwest to southeast. The Caucasus Mountains are made up of two separate ranges, the Greater Caucasus in the north and the Lesser Caucasus in the south. #UPSC #IAS #CSE #IPS
