Cobram Estate Olives Limited Chairman and Co-founder Rob McGavin caught up with ticker NEWS today to discuss the company's upcoming ASX listing.
Founded in 1998 by Paul Riordan and Rob McGavin, Cobram Estate Olives operates a fully integrated olive growing and marketing model which is unsurpassed in the Australian olive industry.
The company owns Australia’s two top-selling homegrown olive oil brands, Cobram Estate® and Red Island®, together with over 2.4 million olive trees and 18,000 hectares of freehold farmland principally in central and north-west Victoria. Its 2021 Australian olive harvest is projected to account for 71% of Australia’s total olive oil crop.
Cobram Estate Olives’ operations also include Australia’s largest olive tree nursery, three olive mills, two olive oil bottling and oil storage facilities, two warehousing facilities, the Modern Olives laboratory®, and over 300 hectares of olive groves in California, USA.
