The Punjab police has deployed drones in containment zones of Ludhiana to keep an eye on lockdown violators. The drones will capture photos of those who defy curfew rules or social distancing norms and a warning will be sent to them through text messages. There are over 5,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the state of Punjab.
