He digs for his pinecones in the nest and finds them
Then he rubs his backside on the nest floor. I think this is a kind of "eagle marking behavior"
After a bit of renovation, he flies away and brings a branch. That was enough work for the day. He flew away again. This morning it was minus 25 degrees. It is expected 16-19 degrees at night. A normal Latvian winter weather.
