After you receive registration for a trademark you must continue to use the mark in commerce in connection with the goods or services as indicated on your registration certificate. In certain circumstances, you may request to be temporarily excused from the requirement of using your mark, but it is never acceptable to maintain a registration when you are using the mark in a manner that is not consistent with the class and description shown on your registration certificate.
