In today’s video I am going to talk about QUARTZ STONE.
QUARTZ is the combination of atoms of Silicon and Oxygen. This combination is formed on earth over the period of time. It comes in different varieties like Rose Quartz; I will show you how it looks, Citrine, Cloudy Quartz and many more types of Quartz.
If I talk about benefits, it comes in different pieces that we can use and it looks really beautiful at home. If you have ever visited Udaipur, in the tile industry, Quartz has a maximum usage in making tiles.
Quartz stone has a lot of uses and the maximum usage that I am going to tell you today is in Jewellery. Citrine jewellery, amethyst jewellery and jewellery of many stones that are semi-precious but look really beautiful is used throughout the world.
Talking about the price range, it starts from Rs.30-40 per ratti to almost Rs700-800 per ratti. As the quality gets better the price of the stone increases accordingly. On an average if I talk about price, it will cost you Rs.200-300 per ratti in retail.
Talking about its origin, it is found in Brazil, NewYork, Japan and many other international places. If I talk about India, the mining of this stone is done in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and few other parts of the country. Different categories have different regions.
Interesting fact - This is a very strong mineral. It is ranked fourth in hardness. The hardest is Diamond, then Sapphire, then Topaz and then Quartz which is on 4th number. So if you have Quartz you know that it is a very strong stone.
One more interesting fact - Rose Quartz that I just showed you is easily available everywhere. Let me tell you one more interesting fact that Rose Quartz is used for self-love. If you do not love yourself then you can wear this stone and you will start loving yourself. Trust me this works!
I will not talk about certification here, because this is an inexpensive stone. If you go to get it certified, it will cost you more money. However, if you are using it for astrological purpose and you have been recommended by a vast consultant to keep it in your home at particular locations and sizes and you are investing some money in it and buying a big crystal of around Rs.20k-30k, then there are a lot of labs in Jaipur, Delhi, Bombay and you get it certified from any lab by paying a certain amount of Rs.1000-2000. At least you will be stress free that it is a real stone.
