Drury Dam Disused Railway Viaduct in Mansfield
This is The Drury Dam Viaduct that’s name originated from local mill owner Daniel Drury.
Grade two listed, it originally opened in 1871, it Closed a year later but reopened in 1906.
9 arches and a skew girder span over the road.
Closed in 1983 when local colliery traffic ceased. More on this in a future video.
One of two historic viaducts in Mansfield (Kings Mill Viaduct). Not including the Quarry Lane viaduct that sat on the north curve adjacent to the Drury Dam viaduct.
