Shipley do-nut: Born in Texas
Shipley's was founded around 1936 by Laurence Shipley Senior in Houston, Texas. They have over 300 franchise stores with over 60 varieties of donuts. Kolaches are huge in Texas. Every donut shop will have their version of them and for good reason. Pig in the blankets are awesome.
