Hockey is back! And it starts against the Buffalo Sabres. The Rangers not only dominated this game, but had a near perfect game. Offense is huge, defense is solid, special teams showed up, and Igor is Igor. So many goals were scored, including an amazing shorthanded goal by Chris Kreider. What a play and what a pass by Zibanejad! It is a shame that Kreider didn't get a hat trick, but it was still a great win to open the season. Peter Laviolette got his first win as Rangers head coach with a dominating 5-1. THIS IS ONLY GAME 1! If THIS is how we play, I am excited to see what the rest will be like. Great start Rangers!
