A San Diego Police officer who was critically injured after a deadly pursuit crash last Monday in Clairemont Mesa was released from the hospital, Chief Scott Wahl said Tuesday.
"We're very grateful he'll be going home today," Wahl said in a press conference Tuesday.
Wahl said he spoke with Martinez on Tuesday, and said that Martinez would like to share that his care from Sharp Hospital doctors and nurses was nothing short of ''amazing."
