Here is a simple, low cost solution for routing an external transducer cable on a MotorGuide Xi5 trolling motor. I have had this solution in place for over 6 years now and have never had an issue and I have never replaced the hose around the cables. You may have to play with different lengths of hose depending on the length of the trolling motor shaft. Mine is 42 inches. Hope you find this information helpful. Happy Fishing!
